In January 2025, Rachel joined Natwest Group as their Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, a role that leads Communications, Media Relations, Public Affairs and Public Policy for the bank. Prior to joining Natwest Group, Rachel held the role of Chief Corporate Affairs and Marketing Officer at KPMG UK and was a member of the Executive Committee.
Rachel previously spent time as a senior civil servant, latterly working in No.10 and the Cabinet Office as Principal Private Secretary to the Cabinet Secretary. She is a former Chair and Patron group member of Access Accountancy, a charity that seeks to widen access to the accounting profession, and is a Trustee of the National Literacy Trust, the UK’s leading charity helping people with the literacy skills they need to succeed in life.Â
