The Investment Framework for Nutrition 2024 expands the focus to include low birthweight and obesity, adding policy considerations, operational guidance for country-level implementation, and gender and climate change perspectives.
An additional $13 billion annually is needed to scale up nutrition interventions, especially in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. These investments need to be supported by targeted policies to influence consumer preferences.
