A report from Save the Children.
In 2024, 18.2 million children were born into hunger.
Mounting debt burdens are shrinking fiscal space for many governments, undermining their ability to adequately fund critical public services and make long term investments in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including SDG 2 Zero Hunger.
The report calls for urgent action, and says that UK has an outsized role to play in reforming the global governance of sovereign debt.
