Baroness Featherstone has been a Liberal Democrat Member of the House of Lords since 2015. She was the Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Hornsey and Wood Green from 2005 to 2015, and served as Minister for Equalities, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for International Development, and Minister of State for Crime Prevention at the Home Office during the Coalition Government.
Prior to entering Parliament, Baroness Featherstone sat on Haringey Council and was a Member of the London Assembly, where she chaired the Transport Committee and served on the Metropolitan Police Authority. She also ran her own design company and was a strategic design consultant.
