MIKE NKHOMBO KHUNGA is a public health and nutrition specialist. He has experience working in coordination with United Nations, Scaling Up Nutrition Movement and Non-government Organisations. He has led nutrition projects in Malawi engaging government Ministries, Departments and Agencies, Members of Parliaments, Civil Society organizations and the media. Emphasizing coordinated nutrition programming, increased funding to nutrition and nutrition knowledge communication. He is a youth champion with multiple youth awards and grants and he has led several youth campaigns, empowering youths to lead food system and nutrition change in communities and beyond. He was a youth representative during the UN Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) and currently he is a youth representative in the Scaling Up Nutrition Executive Committee (SUN ExCom).
