Martha Varney MBE supports the Board and CEO in ensuring effective corporate governance and compliance, and leads on organisational and administrative issues. Martha served as a Special Adviser to former Prime Minister, David Cameron, and former Minister for Government Policy, Oliver Letwin, in 10 Downing Street and the Cabinet Office from 2010 to 2016, latterly as Head of Operations. She also works as the Coordinator for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases.
