Emma comes to us from Oxfam, where she was PR Lead. There she developed a strategic stream of content to position the charity as the country’s leading voice on sustainable fashion. This success directly contributed to a rise in its retail income, raising crucial funds to help beat poverty and injustice around the world.

A creative collaborator, Emma seeks out partnerships and alliances to propel action, challenge views, and drive change. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a consistent and curious interest in human behaviour, aid, and development, studying Anthropology and Development as a postgraduate at SOAS.

At Oxfam she had the privilege of travelling extensively, meeting refugees in camps in Jordan and Greece, farmers in Zimbabwe, traders in Senegal and earthquake survivors in Nepal, helping to tell their stories and shine a light on the need for support and its impact.

UAMH CEO said: “We are excited that Emma is joining our team. Her expertise as a communications and campaigns specialist, and extensive experience as a journalist and editor on national publications, will be of huge benefit to UAMH as we press for greater UK action on global malnutrition and hunger.”

Emma Fabian said: "I am delighted to be joining UAMH to campaign on this critical issue. I know from my work at Oxfam that access to good nutrition is not only crucial for individuals to survive and thrive, but also foundational to progress on so many issues, from health to education to economic development."
