ABOUT UNITED AGAINST MALNUTRITION AND HUNGER

We are currently looking for dynamic thinkers and leaders to join the Board of United Against Malnutrition and Hunger, a new, dynamic, single-focus organisation, which has been established to make the pragmatic, compelling case for UK investment to combat global malnutrition and hunger.   We are supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Eleanor Crook Foundation. 

Current efforts are not enough to ensure these issues have the political prioritisation and profile required for robust and long-term UK action. Our job is to change this.   

We welcome applications from people committed to the UK playing a leading role in combatting global malnutrition and are willing to provide strategic advice, support and personal insight to the organisation as we deliver on our mission. We are passionate about building an inclusive organisation, so we particularly encourage applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds and those with experience in high-burden countries.  

We are particularly looking for candidates who have a background in finance, or who may have worked in charity or not-for-profit in governance or financial management roles, who would be willing to join our Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.  

This is an unpaid position for a not-for-profit organisation, established as a company limited by guarantee, (rather than a charity) so we are looking for applicants who would be willing to serve as company directors.
